If you would like a wedding in style in a historic setting, with high ceilings and glittering chandeliers, you will enjoy coming to Melderstein Manor! When you choose to have your wedding here, you have the entire manor at your disposal.
Since every wedding is unique, we will happily adapt to your wishes to make your wedding exactly the way you want it. We are flexible and will do everything we can to fulfil your wishes. THE CERMONY
The wedding ceremony can be held outdoors on our lawn, by the stream or in our chapel that can accommodate over 100 guests. The chapel is directly adjacent to the manor. The generous ceiling height provides a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding.
It is also possible to hold your ceremony elsewhere and then come on here for the wedding reception.
WINTER WEDDING
Getting married in the winter is a magical experience with sparkling white snow and crystal-clear air.
We recommend the period between January and March when Swedish Lapland has the most snow and the contrast between darkness and light creates an atmospheric time for your ceremony with flaming torches and lit candles.

OUTDOOR WEDDING
Many couples choose to get married in Melderstein's beautiful surroundings. There are extensive lawns with views over the Manor or rolling meadows. By the River Bjurån the ceremony may be held to the sound of running water and whispering birches.
Choose your own decorations for your ceremony. After the wedding, enjoy the bridal toast in
our beautiful courtyard in front
of the Manor.

PARTY HALL
Melderstein's dining hall with high ceilings and beautiful chandeliers can accommodate over 100 guests. We set the tables with white linen tablecloths and in a classic wedding setting.
Make your own decisions on the decorations for the tables and the hall so you put your own touch to your wedding. After dinner, the dining room turns into a dance floor and party room. We are happy to help you with tips on live music, sound and light.
WEDDING DINNER
Choose from a full-service concept with professionally-cooked meals, which also include tableware and serving. Or choose to rent the Manor and prepare the food yourself in our kitchen.
It is also possible to combine the different alternatives if you would like to bring your own wedding cake or a delicacy for the starter.
LIVE IN STYLE
When you rent the Manor for your wedding party, the chapel and restaurant are included with enough capacity for about 100 guests. In addition, 12 bedrooms with 21 beds and extra beds available can accommodate about 45 guests per night.
In the Manor, the rooms are decorated with inspiration from older times. All the bedrooms have a special touch. The Courtyard Annex has been refurbished in classic contemporary Swedish style. The bedrooms are fresh and clean and all are en suite. Read more about our bedrooms.
